Business Development Manager

Position Overview

U.S. Energy Recovery is growing and so is our need to expand our sales team. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team.

U.S. Energy Recovery delivers innovative energy-saving technologies that empower companies to positively impact the environment and their bottom line. What You Will Be Doing:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will have a passion for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities with prospective customers. This primarily includes researching new leads, preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and developing relationships.

Role Expectations

  • Identifying and discovering new business and sales opportunities, as well as presenting quotes and proposals to customers with potential to travel (up to 30%)
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospects, including capturing new leads from existing relationships
  • Driving the sales cycle from the initial contact to closing the sale
  • Researching new prospects and facilities to identify additional business opportunities
  • Maintaining and updating all correspondences within our CRM (SalesForce) database
  • Staying up to date on US Energy Recovery’s value propositions to the market, changes within regulatory affairs, breakthroughs, and competitors to allow new markets and opportunities to be identified.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working within the Business Development Manager (BDM) role, Outside Sales role, or similar sales position.

• Significant successful experience in consultative selling including lead generation

• Strong sales background and an interest or experience in renewable energy sales

• Strong interpersonal skills that pursue and engage in business relationships with a variety of individuals and groups

• Highly motivated and proven track record of accomplishing sales activities and goals

• An energetic, self-starter who thrives working with a dynamic team
